A remote check of your entire CCTV system including the Cameras, Wi-Fi panels and Network video recorders.
We will confirm the system is running as it should be and make sure that your system is running the most up to date firmware.
WHAT IS FIRMWARE?
Firmware is the software that runs on hardware like the CCTV cameras, the Wi-Fi panels and the NVR. We will check that your system is using the most up to date and secure firmware.
WHY DO I NEED THE MOST UP TO DATE FIRMWARE?
Every now and then security vulnerabilities are discovered in the firmware running on all hardware. These vulnerabilities can leave your whole system open to attack from hackers all over the world. When these vulnerabilities and other bugs are found, reputable manufacturers will issue a firmware update that fixes the bugs and the security holes. By upgrading your devices to the most recent firmware you will ensure your hole system is more secure
HOW DOES THE SYSTEM HEALTH CHECK WORK?
STEP 1
Book an appointment by following this link OR calling the office on 01382 217377.
STEP 2
We will log into your system remotely via your laptop or PC.
STEP 3
Our engineers will check all of the settings of your system and fix any faults they find.
STEP 4
All devices in your system (Cameras / Wi-Fi panels / Networked Video Recorders) will be upgraded to the most recent firmware.
STEP 5
We will send you a service report.
Please note – the entire service can take up to two hours depending upon the size of your system
Costs: £120 ex Vat for the first 3 devices £15 per device thereafter
