Temperature measurement
The temperature sensor is digital and extremely accurate. The minimum and/or maximum temperature limit is adjustable between -35 °C and +70 °C. The sensor is factory calibrated and indicates the value in decimal. One sensor is included in the standard product. A second sensor can be attached, which is available as accessory.

Alarm messages
In the event of an an alarm, the Mobeye ThermoGuard TwinLog sends alarm notifications by app (IOS/Android), telephone call (voice message), text message and/or e-mail. The message includes the actual temperature. For the push messages there is a choice between an escalation plan or group message. With the escalation plan, the recipient can confirm the push message, so that the other contacts no longer receive the message. If none of the recipients confirms the push message, a phone call is made. The number of contacts is unlimited.

External voltage vs battery powered
The Mobeye ThermoGuard TwinLog can run on batteries for a long time which makes it independent of an external power source. If an external power source is available, it is recommended to connect it. The availabiltity of the power supply is then monitored. it will also send power failure alarms. If there is outage, a notification follows. The batteries take over and the CML4255 will continue to monitor and send alarm messages. Once the power restores a notification will be sent. The batteries are included in the standard product. A country-specific mains adapter is available as accessory.

Alarm inputs, piezo siren and open collector output
In addition to the temperature sensor, the Mobeye ThermoGuard (CML4275) has two NO/NC inputs for connecting alarm contacts and sensors. These can be used for monitoring the status of a make/break sensor or device, such as an air conditioner or door magnet. In the event of an alarm an audible alarm indication can sound by the internal piezo siren. In addition to this an (open collector) output is available to switch an external device.

Network and SIM card
The Mobeye SIM card gives the device full functionality, including the use of the Mobeye Internet Portal and the app. With the Mobeye SIM card, communication takes place over the 4G LTE-M network with 2G as fallback. It then provides the log function. The temperature trend and status are displayed in the portal. When you insert your own SIM card, the device works on 2G. Logging is not possible, alarm messages are then sent via SMS and/or call to max. 5 telephone numbers.

Smart data transfer during night frost
In consultation with horticulturists, functions have been added for use as a night frost detector. In the cold spring, fruit growers need to protect buds and blossom from frost damage. The CML4275 provides specific information about the temperature in the field. With a critical zone and an alarm zone, the temperature alarm messages become more meaningful and the graphs are updated in a timely manner. Read more about the Mobeye night frost detectors.
